Your town needs your help. If you have what it takes to serve the Town of Sterling, please consider volunteering.
Effective Attributes of Board, Committee and Commission Members include;
- Fair, objective, and open-minded
- Strong call to civic-duty – willingness to give back to the community
- Personal integrity – no personal agenda or prejudice
- Ability and time to attend meetings, visit sites, review meeting materials
- The fortitude to make difficult decisions within the parameters of the law
- Must treat everyone respectfully and with dignity, at all times
